1. Perform a self-test 😊

2. Evaluate test results

  • ✅ Everything okay? Then you’re ready to go!
  • ❌ Problems? Contact your IT department.

3. For your IT department 👨‍💻

4. If the self-test is OK, but you’re still having issues 🤔 → work through these steps one by one

  • Use a different browser 🌐
    • Use the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge ✅
    • In company environments: Please avoid Mozilla Firefox ❌
  • Test internet connection 🚄
  • Close programs & environments 👋
    • Quit Teams, Zoom, Webex, Skype, Google Meet etc.
    • Close Citrix, DATEV, or similar virtual desktop solutions.
  • Optimize connection 📶
    • Use a LAN connection instead of WiFi
    • Or test the guest WiFi or a mobile hotspot
    • Working from home? Turn off VPN ❗
  • Problems sharing your camera & microphone? 📸
  • Try a different device 💻
    • Use a laptop, tablet, or smartphone
  • Restart your computer 🔄
    • Save everything, restart the PC, and then only open the browser

5. If problems persist 🆘

  • Contact your IT department or edudip support
