4. If the self-test is OK, but you’re still having issues 🤔 → work through these steps one by one
- Use a different browser 🌐
- Use the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge ✅
- In company environments: Please avoid Mozilla Firefox ❌
- Test internet connection 🚄
- Run a speed test
- at least 20 Mbit/s constant, Ping under 300 ms. ✅
- Close programs & environments 👋
- Quit Teams, Zoom, Webex, Skype, Google Meet etc.
- Close Citrix, DATEV, or similar virtual desktop solutions.
- Optimize connection 📶
- Use a LAN connection instead of WiFi
- Or test the guest WiFi or a mobile hotspot
- Working from home? Turn off VPN ❗
- Problems sharing your camera & microphone? 📸
- Allow access in your browser
- If it’s blocked: Clear only your cookies & cache (passwords/bookmarks will remain)
- Try a different device 💻
- Use a laptop, tablet, or smartphone
- Restart your computer 🔄
- Save everything, restart the PC, and then only open the browser
