This article will guide you through the functions and possibilities of the media library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"where-to-find-the-media-library\" >Where to Find the Media Library<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll find the media library in the webinar room at the <strong>bottom right<\/strong>. It&#8217;s identified by a <strong>folder icon<\/strong> and labeled <strong>&#8220;Materials.&#8221;<\/strong> This icon and the contents of the media library are initially not visible to participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"uploading-materials\" >Uploading Materials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a moderator, you can easily upload new materials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>cloud icon with an upward arrow<\/strong> (upload symbol).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the desired files from your computer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"managing-files-searching-filtering-and-sorting\" >Managing Files: Searching, Filtering, and Sorting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To keep track of your uploaded materials, the media library offers various management options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Search Field:<\/strong> To the left of the upload symbol, you&#8217;ll find a search field. Enter keywords here to quickly find specific files.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Filter by Category:<\/strong> You can filter your files by the following categories:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Videos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Images<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whiteboard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Word Carousel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Filter by Author:<\/strong> If multiple moderators have uploaded materials, you can filter by the author of the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sorting:<\/strong> Files can be sorted by various criteria:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>File Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of Downloads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>File Size<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation Date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last Updated You can also set the sorting order to <strong>alphabetical ascending or descending<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"releasing-files-to-participants\" >Releasing Files to Participants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to each uploaded file, you&#8217;ll see brief information such as the file name, format, and size. There&#8217;s also an <strong>eye icon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By clicking the <strong>eye icon<\/strong>, you can release the respective file for participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once at least one file has been released, the <strong>&#8220;Materials&#8221; icon will also appear for participants<\/strong> in the bottom right of the webinar room. Participants can then view and download the released files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"file-management-via-the-3-dot-menu\" >File Management via the 3-Dot Menu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To the far right of each file, you&#8217;ll find a <strong>3-dot menu<\/strong>. Clicking it opens additional options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Download:<\/strong> You can download the file to your own computer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Share in Chat:<\/strong> This function shares the file name, a thumbnail, and the option to download the file in the public chat.
