Detach camera window

Visibility of all camera feeds: For a better overview of all active participants, the camera feeds can now be detached and displayed in a separate window next to the presentation area.

To open the videos in a new tab, please click the detach icon located at the bottom right of the screen. To reverse this, click the icon again, which is located at the top of the screen when detached.

Important: Just like the option to detach the chat, this setting is also individual and does not affect the view of other participants.

If you can’t find the window with the detached camera feeds among all your open tabs, you can always bring the window back into focus via the main room.

To display the camera feeds in their usual place again, you can simply close the detached window.

Speaker mode and Collaboration mode

With Speaker mode, you can position the camera bar above the chat, creating more space for the workspace. This also allows more people to be visible simultaneously among active participants without undocking the camera bar.

You can switch between the two modes using the button at the top right above the chat.

Passive moderator

The passive moderator allows you to hide your moderator tile, creating more space for colleagues. This is particularly useful if, for example, you have a moderator on board for technical support or chat management during VIP support who doesn’t contribute content-wise.

The respective moderator will find this option at the bottom left of their new user menu.

If the passive moderator activates a device (camera / microphone), the passive mode will be ended.
